We create a community for disabled law students and allies. We advocate for DLSA’s purpose and values alongside students. We provide practical resources to support disabled law students during law school and as they enter the legal profession. We encourage disabled law students to advocate for themselves and the broader disabled community. Our overall goal is equal access and fairness in the legal profession.

Who should join DLSA?

Anyone who needs or uses accommodations, anyone who is interested in disability law, and/or anyone who is interested in supporting or participating in the goals of DLSA. Membership is open to all!

2025-2026 Goals

Our main focuses this year will be on building community with classmates and legal professionals, learning about disability law and how you can advocate, and getting accommodations both at Mitchell Hamline and the MPRE/Bar Exam. We have an exciting year planned and are excited to grow DLSA alongside of you.
